"I am married to a Dutchman and followed the Dutch-Able beginner's course in 2003. The lessons were a valuable experience. She used good Dutch books and every week she showed and explained about typical Dutch cultural and social life. The lessons were mostly in Dutch so I could learn Dutch much faster. After every lesson she also gave some exercises for home. Marijanne teaches in an enthusiastic and joyful way. Because she is a Dutch native teacher she can easily teach the student to pronounce the difficult words and letters... especially the 'g' ;-) The lessons are never boring.

The best way of learning Dutch is to learn from a native Dutch teacher. Marijanne is the best you can get at Chennai! Another big plus: she is able to communicate in English, Tamil and Hindi as well... this will help you to learn the language much quicker and better. The lesson's I have followed in India gave me the opportunity to develop my skills right away when I arrived in Holland. Now I am working at an accountancy office and studying at the same time... all in Dutch!"
